MEET THE STEERING COMMITTEE

Since 2007, three organizations/agencies have worked collaboratively to plan and deliver Living Archaeology Weekend: the United States Forest Service-Daniel Boone National Forest (USFS-DBNF), the Kentucky Organization of Professional Archaeologists (KyOPA), and the Kentucky Archaeological Survey (KAS). Support also is provided by the Kentucky Heritage Council and the Natural Resources Conservation Service. Representatives of these organizations/agencies comprise the LAW Steering Committee. The LAW Steering Committee meets monthly to plan the event and to create educational materials.
